Physician (Temporary Section Chief, Integrated Health and Wellness NTE 1 Year)

The incumbent with serve as a Section Chief in APMS and in the role of the Integrated Health and Wellness Medical Director. The incumbent's duties will be to manage and plan how complementary integrated health services and treatments are delivered as well as contribute to the process of strategic planning, influencing, and responding to organizational priorities. This will involve responsibility for development of priorities and working with the Executive Team and appropriate Service Chiefs, ACOs, Special Program Managers, and the Whole Health Program Manager. The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing and leading an Integrated Wellness Care Center. This Care Center will be at the forefront of providing the highest level of health and wellness by uniting different aspects of medical specialties and integrative healing modalities. Services to be included in this endeavor are Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Nutrition, Weight management, Massage, Yoga, Whole Health coaching, Psychotherapy and others. A wide range of physical, mental, emotional, social, environmental, and spiritual factors that affects a Veteran's health will also be addressed in this holistic model of patient care. The Integrative Wellness Care Center will also provide integrative healthcare education for Veterans and our employees as well as other healthcare professionals including allied healthcare interns and residents. Additional goals include increasing collaboration with the surrounding community providers, universities and further contribute to VA research programs by providing invaluable evidence-based data on Integrative Medicine. This position will require the incumbent to function as a Section Chief of the Anesthesia and Physical Medicine Service. As such, a grand percentage of the duties and responsivities will involve administrative duties and time. Work Schedule:

United States Citizenship:

Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Licensure:
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Residency/Fellowship Training:
Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. English Language Proficiency:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
