Company History: Our Client is a full service environmental firm that provides consulting; construction project support; remediation; system design and installation; operations, maintenance and monitoring; industrial hygiene; and sludge dewatering services. The Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing existing client revenues, as well as identifying and acquiring new business opportunities to ensure the company achieves its business and revenue objectives. The Relationship Manager is responsible for generating and growing profitable Gross Operating Revenues (GOR). This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Essential Functions: -Meet assigned business development objectives and daily sales call goals to assist the company in achieving GOR business growth objectives. Revenue generation responsibilities include managing and growing new client income streams for identified business sectors such as retail petroleum, industrial, plant maintenance, filter press, consulting, construction, remediation, brown fields and other company designated business development sectors within an assigned geographical area; -Develop, maintain and share client files, contact lists and competitive information for assigned area; -Interface with internal and external clients on a daily basis in a positive manner; -Prepare Marketing and Business Presentation Materials. Responsibilities -Effectively communicate with the company internal and external customers and develop working relationships that will enable the company to achieve business and revenue objectives; -Assist internal and external clients with resolution of their business and technical needs; -Attend client, company and industry meetings and conferences as required; -Actively participate in and support bid and proposal activities as required; recommend additional services / markets; -Communicate client progress, status, plans and activities; -Successfully manage the assigned geographical area within assigned budget; -Assist with office / staff training and development; -Other duties as may be assigned. Job Qualifications / Experience -5
years demonstrated successful sales experience within the environmental industry; experience with FLDEP IPTF required; -Strong interpersonal skills; -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Timberline software; -Demonstrated proficiency in automated sales and management tracking systems; SalesForce preferred; -Ability to work extended hours as required; -Ability to travel as needed. Education -College degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
