Digital Marketing Specialist

Primary responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist include the production and deployment of digital marketing campaigns to drive audience growth for subscription products (magazines, tablet digital editions, and special interest publications).
The Digital Marketing Specialist should be extremely familiar with web design, optimization, content management, and marketing across multiple channels including: web sites, display advertising, online stores, and customer service. This position is a part of the Audience Development department and interacts with internal business users at all levels of the company, as well as works directly with external vendors as needed.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to produce and execute online product promotions in parallel with printed efforts and editorial pushes.
Drive the testing and optimization of ecommerce subscription and renewal campaigns on existing marketing channels (website, display ads, e-newsletters, in-app, and search marketing), with a clear understanding of stakeholders goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Follow the production process and identify areas for continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
Interact regularly with vendors and other parts of the business: web development, database marketing, fulfillment, analytics, search, social, ad sales & operations, video, editorial and consumer marketing (including customer service and retention).
Be able to maintain content for multiple brands on multiple systems hosted by Bonnier or third parties.

Job Requirements/Skills:
BA in Marketing, Advertising, Design, or equivalent
Approximately 2 years of experience with online marketing (including e-commerce, online advertising, and customer service) a must
Experience editing HTML, CSS, and graphics
Experience with content management systems (Drupal/WordPress preferred), customer interfaces, user experience, and A/B testing
Proficient with Photoshop (or InDesign) and Dreamweaver
Must be a self-starter with basic project management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Must have a high attention to detail and a propensity for making adjustments to create an efficient workflow
Effective oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
