The License Qualifier is responsible for obtaining, holding and maintaining the appropriate State and Municipal license and ensuring that company,its subsidiaries and its affiliate businesses are qualified under and in compliance with any and all applicable State and Municipal licensing statutes and ordinances. Ensure company remains in compliance with all applicable statutes and ordinances pertaining to company. Accountable for all services provided by a company authorized contractor or service technician; responsible for any act of anyone in company that causes the applicable regulatory authorities to bring disciplinary action against the license qualifier. Meet with regulatory board members and / or licensing authorities as required. Maintain state registration requirements with regulatory authorities as applicable. Provide company copies of all correspondence between any regulatory agency and themselves that involve company.
Requirements
5 to 7 years of experience in installation or contracting in a related field, which may include home improvement/building, appliance repair/installation and/or kitchen/bathroom installation. Must hold the appropriate trade license to qualify company as a legal contracting company for the applicable state. Experience as a small business owner/operator preferred. Experience in sales preferred. Travel requirements on occasion.
Education
Bachelor degree in Business and/or Finance preferred.
