Freelance Audio Visual Technician

American AV is looking for qualified freelance personel to assist in the set-up, operation and tear-down of corporate events in the the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. We are looking to fill needs ranging from general stagehands to audio-visual operators, including all of the audio, video and lighting disciplines.
Special consideration will be given to those that can demonstrate proficiency in one or more of these areas. If you have a strong work ethic, have a desire to provide the best service to our clients, and want to work with a team of people that love what they do, then American is waiting for you.
Job Requirements:
Basic Knowledge of AV Systems
Prior AV work experience a plus
Flexible Schedule
Able to lift in excess of 50lbs
Able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
Able to present a clean appearance
Able to clearly give and receive written and verbal instructions
Special consideration will be given to those that have experience operating or programming on the following systems: Yamaha LS9, Allen+Heath analog consoles, Analog Way PLS300, Analog Way OPS300, Analog Way Ascender, Hog Lighting Systems, MagicQ.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
