We are seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Seafood Retail Cashier.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
The ideal candidate will have previous cashiering experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for seafood.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them with their purchases Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment Maintain a clean and organized checkout area Answer customer questions about products and services Assist with restocking merchandise and maintaining inventory levels Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including food safety regulations Requirements:
Previous cashiering experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Knowledge of seafood products and basic food safety practices is a plus Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
