DescriptionOur Teachers and Assistants provide a warm, nurturing, safe and loving preschool environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged and individuality respected.
Teaching staff are responsible for partnering with parents and co-workers to provide children's (ages infant to five) programming that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of each child.
Additional responsibilities include weekly curriculum planning, maintaining appropriate boundaries, the application of positive discipline, communicating with parents, and adhering to safety guidelines.
Full-time, part-time and flexible options available.
Opportunities available at both preschool locations.
RequirementsNote that qualifications may be met as a result of lived experience, volunteer work, professional experience, and/or formal or informal training.

High school diploma or equivalent, advanced degree preferred.
Child Development Associate credential or related certification (Lead Teacher position requirement.
)Completed, or ability to complete, 45 childcare training hours as required by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Demonstrated emotional intelligence and maturity.
Ability to sufficiently manage crisis situations and use supervision constructively.
Ability to recognize and report significant individual and group behavior.
Ability to supervise and lead aides and other personnel (Lead Teacher position requirement.
)Complete required in-service training annually.
Meet position occupational demands and fitness-for-duty requirements.
